Bay of Marmaris host Sailors from around the World each year. Marmaris has been a sailors town since ancient times merchant ships, fishers and travellers stopped at this port. Armies and Navies of Ottoman Empire conquered Rhodes island by sailing from Marmaris. The magnificent Suleiman had his armies meet in Marmaris before heading to Rhodes. Each year, sailors from all around the World come to this town to challenge each other and the nature.
